About Marching Fourth in Honor of Judy Heumann

Acclaimed disability rights activist Judith Heumann was a proud Board Member of the American Association of People with Disabilities. Judy was a mentor to many of our organization's program participants and staff, and she was actively engaged in much of AAPD's work. Judy firmly believed in the power cross-disability community organizing, which is central to AAPD's mission. AAPD was honored to be among the organizations Judy asked individuals to donate to in her memory upon her passing on March 4, 2023.
